Presentation of the 2017 August 12th 4 hour Sprint AR

Municipality of La Pêche sector Wakefield, Outaouais QC

Race HQ at ski Vorlage

Event recap

Congratulations to all teams who took part in the race! It was quite a race in the Wakefield sector. The run provided a great challenge with a lot of height difference. All teams really enjoyed their time on the CCN MTB trails. The multiple route choices with good climbs on the ski hills of Ski Vorlage leading to beautiful landscape in the trekking section were also appreciated by all participants. The paddling section on the Gatineau River offered nice views and a good challenge to all teams that tried to go up against the current toward CPA4. Crossing the finish line was an accomplishment in itself.

A big thanks to the people of municipalité de La Pêche who provided us with a lot of support for the organization of this event. Also we would like to thank all of our sponsors (KEEN, ATMOSPHÈRE, VÉLO LA SHOP, IGA EXTRA FAMILLE PLANTE, CYCLE GM BERTRAND, EXEL RADIO).

It would simply be impossible to organize such an event without the enthusiastic participation of numerous volunteers; special thanks to all of them for their contribution and for making this race a great success.

Special mention to the teams that helped other teams in trouble during the event. This kind of behavior reflects very well the spirit of good-companionship which is so present in Raid Pulse events.
